About

I am an average home cook with a large collection of cookbooks.  I tend to cook from recipes I find online (I like being able to read others’ reviews of a recipe) or ones I learned while in culinary school; therefore, I have a whole collection of mostly unused-by-me cookbooks.  My formal training was in patisserie and baking, so I can bake pretty well but can’t fillet a fish.  I live in a suburb of Los Angeles with my husband and two daughters.

  1. What a great concept! I really enjoyed reading your blog and hearing your background story and interpretations of each meal. And I have agreed so far with your decisions on what recipies you are NOT going to attempt!
